Ultimately, a Supreme Court opinion should be just that, an opinion. Their power is to issue opinions, not enforce them. Enforcement is up to the legislature and the people. There is a separate bill to enshrine the powers and obligations of the grand jury into the constitution. Those are the balances we were supposed to have.

44 submissionsI oppose CACR27 because concentrating structural authority over courts in one branch undermines institutional balance and risks long-term instability in our judicial system.
I strongly support this bill. The only people who should be making decisions regarding their children's' health / immunization are the parents or legal guardians. Thank you for supporting this bill.
Why are we wasting time with bills like this...
I strongly oppose this bill on the grounds that it will limit the powers of the Judiciary and increase the powers of the Legislature thus causing an imbalance of these branches in the state of NH
This bill affects and limits the responsibilities and authority of the State Supreme Court and requires serious scrutiny.
I oppose this attempt to alter the balance of power in our state government.
My name is Karen and I live and vote in Bristol. I am OPPOSED to this bill because I do not want to limit the powers of the Judiciary in NH and put more power in the hands of the Legislature.
I believe this proposed amendment to the NH constitution seeks to limit the power of the Judiciary in NH, which would have a profound negative effect on the balance of power in the state. I do not support this amendment.
This will will unravel the checks and balances between our branches of government. Please vote NO.

What is the purpose of this bill? Why do we want to shift the balance of power in our state government? Does this bill serve the people or those in power?
