I support this bill because it removes barriers to information, helping all voters make informed decisions. This strengthens inclusion and participation in our democracy.

Really? You're going to give a 30 day heads up for inspection? Give them time to hide whatever violations they've been engaging in. The point of inspection is that it should be a surprise, to catch them in the act. With all the problems we have this is what you sit around and come up with?
I am a retired Laconia Firefighter and understand the importance of collective bargaining. Having dealt with union contracts for 28 years I am against this bill .
Requiring long advance notice for labor investigations could hinder enforcement of workplace protections and allow unsafe or unlawful conditions to persist; worker safety and rights should not be compromised for employer convenience.
Collective bargaining is at the heart of what makes this nation and this state great. Employees, and especially the middle class has for too long suffered at the expense of corporations and agencies. Public employees are our friends and neighbors, when they do better, our communities do better. This bill would hamstring public employees and their ability to bargain for equal pay and equal rights. If they lose this ability more people will avoid public service including our first responders, teachers and public works employees. This would leave our communities lacking to provide necessary public services. How does this help anyone? Thank you for your time and consideration.
