note testimony is for non-german amendment as well as HB1300
This is wise.
This bill would help assure that every New Hampshire student can have access to high quality free public education. Please support it.
transparency
I want you to root out people who are trying to buy our grass-roots election system by identifying who is contributing to our Granite State election campaigns.
.
WE need to know who or what is spending big amounts of money in our elections.
I am an independent voter, and I have become increasingly alarmed by the corruption in our state. I support any effort in Concord to increase transparency in political donations. Citizens have a right to know who is paying off our elected officials. This bill is one small increase in transparency. Please support it. Thank you.
Testimony is for the non-germane amendment
Transparency in funding political campaigns again go to trust in the system and encourages participation.
It is so very important for the source of campaign contributions to be open and transparent. If a candidate is receiving out of state contributions or donations from political action committees, that information should be available to voters.
We definitely need more disclosure of political donations. I support this bill.
Time to remove the influence of big money interests on our elections from both parties. This should be a transparent process visible to all voters.
This bill seeks to provide election expenditure transparency where there is NONE at the moment. We need non-partisan accountability
If the state of NH would pay its fair share, we taxpayers would save far more on property taxes. Stop the gop tax scam for once and for all. NH must fund public education. GOP lawmakers pretend to lower taxes, but it's only for the rich, so New Hampshire families pay for it in the end.
This bill will increase transparency of campaign contributions and has a relatively low cost compared to the overall State budget. I'm surprised this requirement isn't already part of NH campaign finance law. And, I can't imagine that a State Rep of either party would have a problem with this piece of legislation.
Accountability in campaign financing.
Out of state groups with lots of money are trying to affect the outcome of our state elections. This bill helps make transparent who is vested in the outcomes of certain bills.
