This bill is a reasonable measure to address some of the barriers to people with developmental and physical disabilities to obtaining a driver's license. The right to drive not only supports person-centered, independent living, but also expands opportunities for employment and education.
I oppose HB1111 because this sounds like it will do nothing to improve public safety or our road conditions. I cannot support this legislation.
