Since we cannot discern the true intent of every alternative medical practice, and since policy already exists to inform patients of trials and procedures, I feel this bill would remove too many guardrails from a fragile system. I oppose, and suggest ITL

This bill not necessary for what the proposer is looking to solve. May cause unexpected harm by not holding a doctor accountable for proscribing treatments/meds they "think/feel" might be helpful. Doctors guidance must be backed by science.
To whom it concerns, I have practice medicine in New Hampshire for 25 years. Over the past 5 years I have seen an overreaching Federal Government, Medical Society's and Hospital Associations take over the practice of medicine. During the pandemic, physicians with legitimate concerns were silenced with threat of censure or loss of license for speaking about emerging therapies and concerns on therapies that were being pushed. As a result lifesaving therapies were not instituted and life threatening therapies were with no regard for the well being of the patient. As a result physicians were silenced. This bill in my opinion would allow physicians to find better ways of caring for patients without threat of reprisals by the groups who hold the power.
Medical boards have no business interfering with the relationship between physicians and patients, especially when that duo have agreed to pursue treatment modalities as alternative approaches to the patients care and well-being!
The free speech of medical professionals should never be censored. Science IS questioning, hypothesizing and testing new ideas and previously accepted beliefs.
I support HB1117 because it is vital for the safety of our children to be involved in ALL medical decisions; particularly any that involve administering medications. Children do not know what they may have allergic reactions to, but their parents are often the ones who carry this information and know what will and will not be safe for their children to ingest or be injected with. If parents are not part of this conversation, it opens up a whole host of issues- including liability for negative health outcomes and legal action when a child may become ill from something that was administered to a child without the parents permission and knowledge. As a parent of a sensitive child, permission is 100% necessary for anything involved with my child. I'm the one who cares for them, and I'm the one who has to deal with and support my child if they experience an adverse reaction to something. Medical providers should automatically be expected to communicate to with the parents of children as a prerequisite for ANY and ALL medical interventions and procedures. Thank you. - Kerri Vercellini
I was personally censored by YouTube for daring to speak out against giving Covid shots to children in a radio interview, despite there being no credible evidence that children were at risk, nor that the Covid shots would help. This is NOT how science is advanced. Protect the right to medical free speech. Let's not relive the early 1600's when the Catholic Church imprisoned Gallileo for daring to say the earth was not the center of the universe.
I support HB1117
Suppressing free speech is unconstitutional. Suppressing doctor,'s ability to speak on behalf of his patient may be criminal. All of us witnessed confusion and corruption during COVID. We need a legislation that protects honest doctors . Please support this bill.

During Covid brave doctors could NOT speak out against pandemic measures or for different forms of Covid treatment because they were threatened with revocation of their license. Draconian measures put in place by bureaucrats who NEVER had the patients best interests at heart. My husband would have died if his doctor didn't risk it all.
I strongly support this bill
Medical professionals should have free speech.
I oppose this bill because it undermines medical standards and allow dissemination of misinformation.
Please support this free-speech-in-medicine bill. During the Covid panic, we saw brave doctors threatened with de-licensing for speaking out against certain favored pandemic measures, or for advocating for alternative forms of Covid treatment. It is therefore crucial that this bill be passed to enshrine a medical professional's right to free speech in medicine. Thank you.
The doctor/patient relationship is personal and sacred. Patients will never be able to trust their doctors if they cannot share their honest and truthful opinions. "Big Brother" should not be interfering in the patient/doctor relationship by dictating to trained medical professionals what they are and are not allowed to say regarding patient care.
I know I don't understand what it is like being a Dr who is controlled by big pharma. I sure don't understand how a Dr can not speak out when they know an effective treatment that isn't pharmaceutical. And the fact that we have to have a law enabling them to be able to speak freely, proves how corrupt the healthcare system is. Stop the strangle hold and let them speak.
Free speech in medicine needs to be preserved in medical care. During the COVID plandemic it was a shame on our national heritage, that the collective cowardice of the administration of unconstitutional law ruled our lives, while our public servants licked the hands of their masters instead of standing up for American peoples God Given inherent rights guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of both NH & US law. The hidden hand of the force of evil called the Deep State, “unelected rulers" must not rule our lives. Our medical profession must have their free speech restored. I implore you to support HB 1117!
This bill is a free speech in medicine bill. During the Covid panic, we saw some brave doctors speak out against pandemic measures or for different forms of Covid treatment and their licenses were threatened. This bill enshrines a medical professional's right to free speech in medicine. What happened during covid was unacceptable! Those doctors were right! This bill needs to PASS!! I am supporting this bill, and so should you!
Why is this even a question?? Make it happen.
One of my doctors fell prey to this nonsense during covid. She is very experienced and I am still in touch with her as she fights to get her licenses back! Again. You are either getting money from the drug companies or trying to play doctor. Either way, you need to support this bill. Live free or die!
I support this legislation that assures a healthcare practioner right to free speech without censure by NH State government or medical institutions.
I support HB1117.
