As a driver, I feel safer knowing that one’s license plate number is clearly visible on both the front and back of the car. In the event of an accident, especially a hit and run, there are more opportunities to find the license plate of the offender.

A front plate makes it much easier to identify vehicles, and at an initial cost of $10 or so and $1 a year for a sticker is not an unreasonable requirement.
