I am writing in support of HB 1269: Relative to the Practice of Acupuncture. As an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS), I have had the opportunity to assist individuals in managing their stress responses to life’s challenges through 5-Needle Protocol (5NP) acupuncture. I offer two weekly sessions and have consistently observed positive outcomes for individuals dealing with a wide range of concerns, including addiction recovery, arthritis, pre- and post-surgical support, grief following the loss of a loved one, and many other stress-related experiences. I have also benefited from strong support within the professional acupuncture community. Local licensed acupuncturists and ADS supervisors have been invaluable in answering my questions and providing guidance, ensuring that 5NP acupuncture is delivered safely, ethically, and effectively within the community. Based on my experience, I strongly believe that HB 1269 supports access to effective, community-based care and promotes collaborative practice within the field of acupuncture. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Carol Ellis Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS)

I support not being forced by the dental profession to the toxic X-rays being mandated.
