Let's allow the public to make their own healthcare and dental care decisions. Ionizing radiation should not be a requirement for a dental maintenance visit.

PLEASE support your constituents by voting in support of this bill. No one should be forced to comply with this mandate for x-rays!

I have been refused treatment and told I cannot remain a patient in a dental practice if I didn’t continue getting yearly x-rays…in spite of the fact that my home care is always praised.

I support HB 1286. I have 2 large thyroid nodules. My thyroid is already compomised and allowing xray would further comprimise my thyroid. My dentist removed me from their practise since I refuse xrays to protect my thyroid.

I take wonderful care of my teeth. My hygienist tells me too. Then they turn around and tell me I HAVE to have xrays done annually or they won't see me. I find this practice to be an insult and overstep on something not needed for my health. Thank you for considering and supporting this!

Testing of any kind, whether dental or otherwise, should NEVER be mandated.

Body autonomy and informed consent are paramount. Nobody should be required to get an X-ray or any other radiation against their consent.
