This bill will ultimately serve to DISENFRANCHISE NH voters who may be living/working/studying overseas. Why would you want to do this? As a spouse of a veteran, I lived overseas for 11 years of my adult life and out of my state of record for a further 9 years. Why should my ability to vote in a NH election be limited just because I was living with my military spouse? I urge you to vote NO, and I further urge you to stop submitting bills that only serve to suppress voter participation. THIS is STILL a democracy.

I watched the YouTube video of the hearing. There is absolutely no verifiable evidence to support that massive voter fraud is occurring with UOCAVA voters. For the bill sponsor to say that is incorrect. For another person testifying that most non-military UOCAVA voters have no intention of returning to the US is totally without proof or merit. As with most bills that are partisan, like this one, and are designed to try to make it harder for US citizens to vote, I think that if you're trying to prevent people from voting, it means you're afraid if enough people vote, they'll vote you out. Maybe focus on why your policies are so unpopular instead of producing unnecessary legislation like this. Finally, as a veteran who has lived overseas three times and has voted UOCAVA in elections, I'm insulted by people who want to verify that I am who I say I am when I'm overseas on official orders. I also volunteer many hours each election day in my local polling place in Hooksett, and for people who say there is voter fraud, they just plain don't know what they're talking about.

This bill would seek to expand unnecessary collection of information from multiple sources for absentee overseas citizens. This is a bill trying to create a fix for a fraud problem that does not exist. The UOCAVA system has worked well and has had no problems in the state of NH.

I am an independent voter. I have submitted testimony a number of times about my concerns with the anti-voting rights bills Concord has been passing. This one adds to the problems NH citizens living overseas, including citizens serving in our military. I think our elected officials should make it easier for all citizens to vote, not harder. To targe our our service men and women with a bill that makes it harder for them to vote while they are serving overseas is beyond the pale. Thank you.

Our democracy should encourage everyone to vote and not restrict voting. Are we going to remain a democracy that honors its people's wishes or not?

If the state of NH would pay its fair share, we taxpayers would save far more on property taxes. Stop the gop tax scam for once and for all. NH must fund public education. GOP lawmakers pretend to lower taxes, but it's only for the rich, so New Hampshire families pay for it in the end.
