I oppose HB 1374 because weakening withdrawal procedures makes cooperative districts less stable and less predictable. These districts rely on long-term commitments to provide equitable educational opportunities; lowering the bar for withdrawal risks harming students and increasing tax volatility across member towns

I live in Hillsborough, part of the Hillsboro-Deering Cooperative district, There is a movement now to have Deering leave the district. If they do, there will be some serious negative effects on Hillsborough. Hillsborough residents should be able to vote on this big change, as it affects both towns. Please ITL this bill. Thank you.

I oppose this bill because I think it would be likely to disrupt the whole structure of the remaining cooperative, to increase its per pupil costs and to leave its students with fewer resources."

I oppose this bill as it would totally disrupt an already established cooperative school district if one of those schools could withdraw.

My children go to school in Derry, and I do want the whole town to decide what my children do or don’t do in school. As a resident please oppose this. This is in acceptable.

It’s a very serious step to allow a Town to too easily break away from their Cooperative. There needs to be intense investigation and discussion of the ramifications so that all members involved can make an informed decision

The bill I am referring to is hr 34 . By labeling Sharia as a threat there is misconceptions and prejudice. Respectfully I have never met one Muslim who believes they should not follow the law of the land. This is part of the teachings. People of all faiths follow a Sharia to degrees, love thy neighbor, give charity, take care of Orphans fairly. Spreading fear is not courages or American. Thank you for your time
