This bill will add complications to any investigation which requires identifying where a child is; plus parents, as well as law enforcement, depend on third party sources if they want to track their child. Since they obtain the needed information through someone who is a profit based business this bill will change the ability of these parties to obtain the information for the parents and law enforcement. As the analysis states, "... will also increase the number of violations requiring investigation and enforcement" which means local property taxes will be burdened with this increased cost. Vote no on HB1460.
