Until items "...used to preserve, protect, or sustain life, health, safety, or economic well-being of a person or his or her property" is defined, this bill is unacceptably vague. This bill could be arbitrarily used to prosecute do to lack of specificity.

Greetings from Sullivan County Only monopoly organizations like SCHOOL BOARDS have the ability to price gouge. So called anti gouging laws prevent a price signal to draw entrepreneurs to solve a problem and compete for the customer. If you want gasoline delivery after a hurricane, and you want to be first to repair your property, PAY UP. Wealthier and more demanding folks will go first. The price will rapidly drop as workers migrate to solve the problem. Without the price signal, gasoline delivery goes to zero. Repairs take months longer. Do not weaponize Greed, Avarice, Sloth, Envy. You risk destroying society itself.
