Speaking from the perspective of a current School Board member, I am in favor of this legislation. I welcome any and all opportunities to be as informed as possible. While I have full faith and trust in my SAU to provide information to our board, having backstops in matters so critical is clearly to no one's disadvantage.
I support this bill on principle for the good of NH residents.
Timely access to compliance and financial reports strengthens local oversight, supports informed decision-making, and helps school leaders address issues before they negatively affect students.
