I support this bill which will more fairly adjust energy costs and will help protect customers on community power and competitive suppliers from having to pay costs that should only impact default service customers. Now there is too much shifting of costs that undermines competitive energy markets.

I support this bill for the sake of NH voters.
Immunizations have proven to be effective in preventing illness. Additionally, a well immunized population provides "herd" immunization that protects both immunized and non-immunized people.
This bill helps protect customers on community power and competitive suppliers from having to pay costs that should only impact default service customers from utility over- and under- collection. As it currently works, there is undue cost shifting and undermining of competitive energy markets.
I support HB1534. This measure improves the position of the Community Power Coalition, which is a positive force in the market, relative to competitors. It clarifies the policy for collection recovery, which has recently threatened to harm & unfairly burden the residential customers.
Right now there is undue cost shifting and undermining of competitive energy markets. We use community power and want to protect it.
Default service exists to protect consumers. Any changes must clearly benefit ratepayers, not utility profits
This is important to me as a homeowner who made a large investment in solar panels even though I couldn't qualify for the 30% tax credit. Reimbursing me for the electricity I produce is the only way for me to recover my investment. Why would the state allow the utilities to "steal" power from its residents?
Amends electric restructuring policy principles for default service rates and recovery for over- & under-collection. ("Default service" is the supply for anyone who doesn't use an alternative supplier or community power provider.) This minimizes customer risk, improves market competitiveness & ensures that the default service rate for net metering customers reflects the market value of distributed energy resources. Protects customers on community power and competitive suppliers from having to pay extra costs. Currently, there is undue cost shifting, undermining market competition.
I support protecting customers on community power and competitive suppliers from having to pay extra costs.
