A vote for this would eliminate the data collected without names; these data are used for planning of mental health and other services for youth in the state. Strongly opposed.

105 submissionsI support HB 1634 because individuals should have a clear remedy when federal employees violate state or federal law under color of authority. This bill reinforces the basic principle that no public official is above the law and strengthens accountability and civil rights protections for people in New Hampshire
Dear Committee Members, I strongly urge you to support HB1634. Federal employees must be held accountable for their actions in New Hampshire. The actions of federal Department of Homeland Security and ICE agents in other states demonstrate the necessity of this law. No one should believe they are above the law and this statute will put federal employees on notice that New Hampshire will prosecute actions outside of both state and federal law. Thank you, Lynn Lippitt
I support this bill that would establish state court remedies for violations of state and federal law by federal employees. This bill has bipartisan support already.
Working for federal agencies shouldn’t exclude the state from taking action against wrong and illegal behavior. Ordinarily the federal justice system would oversee, but apparently we have need to bring that back to the states.
