Much of this bill seems good. I am concerned about this line "To be free to share information regarding a student's educational experience, health, or safety with the student's parent or legal guardian unless otherwise prohibited by state law or the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA); " which seems to be an attack on the LGBTQIA+ community.

We need to support our educators. This is a good start.

I oppose this bill. It is a back door effort to allow school personnel to out students, to create potentially harmful situations, and to break the trust that exists in our schools between teachers and students.

This is for the sake of all NH voters.

Can we please stop attacking our teachers and instead fully fund them in our public schools?

Debora HatcherOpposeDover, NHfor MyselfFeb 11, 2026

I am not a teacher, I do not have kids in our school system. But I support our teachers because our public schools are important for everyone in our community. This bill does not provide rights to teachers, it is just more abuse of our local public servants by Concord. Our teachers want to teach our kids. Stop passing law after law that distracts teachers and others in our local school district away from teaching our kids. Stop attacking our public servants. Instead of wasting time on bills like this please focus on the real problem in NH: How to adequately fund our public schools.

This is NOT what teachers need! Please fully fund public education and let teachers do their jobs without adding on more inane tasks!
