I state my opinion for this bill for the benefit of all NH voters.

More express bus service will relieve congestion during commute hours, and decrease the possibility of traffic accidents during commute times and during late night times when otherwise drivers might be tired or might have had a drink or two.

I urge you to support HB 1680. As the population of southern NH has significantly grown so has the congestion fo its roads, particularly those going toward Boston. More buses mean fewer vehicles acting to increase traffic volume,. Thank you for your consideration, John Walsh

Would increase bus frequency of express bus service from Nashua, Manchester, and Londonderry to Boston during peak commuting hours and late-night Fridays and Saturdays. Funding for this service would come from existing federal and state public transportation programs, supporting regional connectivity and economic development through improved public transportation. Requires a report on frequency of this express service, ridership, impact on workforce mobility and regional economic development. Currently federal funding pays for Dept of Transportation commuter bus services--with no state funds for the Boston Express Bus service.

An excellent bill which, if passed, would help reduce emissions by letting more people replace their car trips with trips using the express bus.
