As a server and mixologist in the state I can only see benefits to all with this bill. I see the trends changing and I think keeping options open is critical and to allow more of our best in state options to be available more that only helps our state’s economy.
I am in support of this bill and our N.H. craft brewers.
I am an owner of a small 3bbl brewery in Goffstown NH. We have many old and new faces over the 4+ years we've been in business. This is my retirement dream, run by my wife (Front Room) and I Head Brewer) with help from my daughter for events and another friend as the assistant brewer. Not having a full scale restaurant puts us at a disadvantage as we only can serve what we produce. Wine and ciders are expensive and time consuming for us as we would have to bring in more expensive equipment, that we do not have the room for. There are many people that would like to come to visit our establishment, but more times than not they say that their other half, friends of theirs etc don't like beer and would love if we had wine or ciders. This bill would increase our foot traffic and sales so that our business will be able to survive for many more years. Thank you Jim Currier MBB
Allowing small establishments to cross-promote one another by supplying their products will help our local economy and continue to boost NH small business.
Bill HB1765 is a great win for NH Breweries Across the state and only allows for a stronger industry in support each other.
This bill will add great options for patrons which they can get at other establishments but not here since we don't have a restaurant. We do have food here as we always have rotating food trucks and I feel patrons can be as nourished as if they were at a beverage manufacturer with a full restaurant. Given that, we should be able to offer additional items to them to further their enjoyment and/or bring in new customers due to additional options.
Wildbloom Beer in Littleton had an idea to bring brewers together for the holidays by doing a 12 beers of Xmas. 12 breweries make a holiday themed beer they have never made before and people can try them all and collect badges for it. Awesome idea! We made a beer and Wildbloom couldn’t even have it on tap at their location because they don’t have food. Put quite the damper on Christmas. It doesn’t make sense to limit where the beer came from when NH people are trying to build a community. Live free or die question mark?
