As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse with over 40 years of experience, I voice my support for this bill. I have seen firsthand the devastating consequences of severe mental illnesses, including the tragedy of suicide. Research has shown that the addition of chemical agents such as psylocibin have led to significant therapeutic benefits in refractory patients. This benefit may be the difference between a life with hope and one with despair or even a tragic end via suicide when no other options are seen. A program such as the one proposed could provide hope for the hopeless. Please consider voting in support of this bill.
