The NH marine patrol is already over stretched not being able to patrol smaller lakes as frequently as I feel they should and not having the ability to reply to complaints to law enforcement about law breakers. I feel by increasing the penalties and mooring fees this could allow marine patrol to increase their staff and alleviate some of the stress. I would also like to see boat registration fees increase and all of these increases to go directly to the marine patrol. (I am a boat owner and own a cottage on one of our state's wonderful small lakes.)
