Everyone should have to label a product the same, all ingredients listed and allergens. It is not that hard to spell out what's in a product, consumers should not be hidden anything or need a QR code to read ingredients. Every person making a food product should label the same weather they are commercial making thousands of the same thing a day or in home making only one a day

I oppose this bill because it will add needless requirements that will drive up costs for us and our customers and will serve as a barrier for entry for other small businesses. This will hinder the thriving small producer community we have here in NH and ultimately hurt all New Hampshire citizens.

I am both a market gardener and President of Gilmanton's Own, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization with a mission of supporting local agriculture and farmers. Required labelling on products should be designed to support the health and well-being of the consumer and give proper information, but not be an undue burden on small producers. It is important to allow more flexibility and to allow labelling by QR code -- now common enough, and easy enough as most people have smart phones to provide adequate information. Thank you.

I have been made aware that this is happening by Dr Clough. It seems very wrong to me to think harmful things are being spewed into the atmosphere that will affect people and land with eventual negative side effects

Please do not allow ingredients to be posted on a website or with a QR code. Those of us with food allergies depend on ingredient transparency and accountability.

I support HB 304 because it increases consumer freedom by allowing consumers to have greater access to cottage food goods in New Hampshire and would keep more of the food dollar in local communities with the increase in locally-produced foods consumers can obtain.

Anything we can do to lower the restrictions on more local food being produced on a small-scale for our local communities builds resiliency and trust to our local food systems. The public should be allowed more options to support local food. And individuals should be able to create a micro food business without loans and layers of red tape. Often these restrictions are in the name of food safety but in reality they support large business by keeping the little guys out. NH can do better.

Dear Committee, I urge you to OPPOSE HB304. This bill is ridiculous! Every Granite Stater has a right to privacy, as you will see from the New Hampshire Constitution Part First Article 2-b (https://www.nh.gov/glance/bill-of-rights.htm) and this bill would directly violate the New Hampshire Constitution. Instead, how about the HB304 bill sponsors create a new bill to require these big companies, who sell processed foods with all sorts of ingredients that none of us can pronounce, put their personal names (not just the company name!), their personal physical address (not some company plant!), their personal e-mail address (not company@company.com), and their personal phone number (not 1-800-company) on their labels to be able to sell food in New Hampshire. The People of New Hampshire require the right to privacy, as provided by the New Hampshire Constitution Part First Article 2-b, so kill this bill which is attempting to violate our fellow Granite Staters! I demand that you OPPOSE HB304, unless you want to knowingly violate your fellow Granite Staters. Sincerely, James
