All coop’s should be allowed to set their own rules for their particular circumstances and communities. This bill forces state level legislative action onto local decision making and procedures. With the various coop situations we have around the state this one size action does not fit all.

OPPOSE HB394 – School Budget Committees Taking Power from Elected Boards Dear Members of the House Education Committee, I strongly oppose HB394, which would shift power from democratically elected school boards to appointed budget committee members. This bill undermines the local control and accountability that elected school boards provide. Regardless of one’s personal views on school policies, the public should have the ability to vote for or against those making key budget decisions. By giving unelected individuals greater influence over school funding, HB394 removes power from voters and weakens democratic oversight. I urge you to vote NO on HB394 and protect transparent, accountable decision-making in our schools. Sincerely, Sean Devlin, PhD

People who are anti-education, anti-knowledge should have no power over what is taught in schools. Teach real facts and real history
