As a former foster parent, adoptive parent, and employee of NH DCYF as the Nurse Coordinator of the Foster Care Health Program in the Nashua, Manchester, Salem and Concord District Offices, I am in full support of HB478. The bar should be set high as to our expectations of the oversight of foster care programs and services and best foster care practices obo children and families, Vulnerable children, youth and families need supportive, effective services and programs, which requires ongoing re-evaluation of current practices, approaches, etc. NH's children in foster placement deserve, and it makes good sense for a foster care oversight sub-committee to be created within the Oversight Commission on Children's Services. Please vote OTP on HB478. Thank you, Rep. Nancy Murphy
