We need to do everything possible to enable municipalities to address homelessness. The bittter cold weather right now highlights this need evermore.

We all know that homelessness is a terrible problem in NH. This is a small step to help towns use the resources they have to find some solutions. Every little bit helps toward a solution. As I write this, the temperature is in the teens, with predicted overnight wind chills in the negative numbers. Can you imagine being homeless in this weather?

We need to offer more immediate solutions to help unhoused people and this seems like a common sense bill. I support HB490.

I support this bill because it would help our communities support people experiencing homelessness without endangering the community to lawsuits.

We need to be kind to all of God's creatures!

I support allowing public property to be used to aid and shelter the homeless.

This bill is amazing, we have a bit of a homeless problem, and with cuts from DODGE I suspect our vets will be impacted and more will become homeless. This will help those people impacted who fought for us to have a home. As well as other people who need somewhere safe to stay and not endanger themselves or others. It's getting very cold so freezing to death is a big issue, this will help it rather than just leave them freezing. I also hear a lot of people on both sides want to help homeless people.

I strongly support municipal actions to address homelessness, a serious and growing problem.

As a mother I feel strongly that decisions related to pregnancy are personal between a women and her partner and her doctor. Not every pregnancy goes as hoped for or when the woman is ready. It is presumptuous for anyone else to think they know the right answers to difficult questions without knowing the circumstances involved. Voters are not looking for politicians to help them make difficult choices for them or treat women as 2nd class citizens.

NH Citizens include homeless citizens. Our local , county, state governments have a duty to address the homeless population and render safety and aid. Use of public facilities should be allowed.
