(New Title) amending the penalties for the possession and use of psilocybin for persons 18 years of age or older.
Psilocybin has been studied and shown to have immense mental health benefits for those struggling with ailments such as severe depression and PTSD. We must support more avenues to help people live happier and more fulfilled lives.
If it’s safe and non-addictive, it should be legal. Maybe that will help a little with the opioid epidemic
All citizens should have the access to healthcare that INCLUDES vaccines. This will lower the vaccine rate by making it less accessible to the lower class population and therefore will increase likelihood of the spread of extremely dangerous illnesses.
Dear Committee, I urge you to SUPPORT HB528. Psilocybin is nothing more than a plant, and as such should be not be criminalized. I fully agree that New Hampshire should legalize the possession and use of psilocybin for persons 21 years of age or older. Sincerely, James
This bill does not address the public safety consequences of the use of psilocybin such as operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
There is no way this should be allowed. No one should be taking hallucinogens and NH should not be encouraging this; which this Bill does. People with a history of mental illness should not take hallucinogens, because they can trigger or aggravate conditions like schizophrenia, mania, or depression. How do you propose to enforce this?
Legalizing psilocybin mushroom possession is insufficient. It must simultaneously be listed as intoxicating substance whose influence is punishable for any action requiring responsibility such as driving, child guardianship, ...
