We do not have adequate DV protections in NH. Someone I had an order of protection against violated that order, was arrested, then never appeared for court. For 6 years he was out on PR bail or there was an active warrant. Though I believe the last two bails were cash ($50 then $100) In the time he was on bail or avoiding a warrant he was arrested for felon in possession of a weapon then later possession of drugs. Both times he was released on PR bail even though he currently had a warrant for a bail jumping and violation of protective order. This went on for six years. This is unacceptable.
