This bill provides better government transparency to us Granite Staters!

Karen BemisOpposeBristol, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

I OPPOSE this bill because it would impose statewide mandates on how local communities govern.

OPPOSE!!

This bill would impose statewide mandates on how local communities govern

Rosemary D'ArcyOpposeBristol, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

This bill amounts to state government overreach and could take authority for local projects and initiatives away from local governing bodies and put an unnecessary burden on them without resources to meet the requirements. This is not useful legislation!

Ian RogersOpposeWarner, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

Everyone knows that tax rates go up over time: forcing towns to display this in shiny graphs not only places yet another burden on our overworked town employees, but is liable to stir up unnecessary rage in communities by getting people even angrier about their tax bills going up. Instead of directing blame elsewhere, let's properly fund our infrastructure and existing programs at the state level to place less burden on local town property taxes.

Donna MccayOpposeNorth Hampton, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

The state has no right to interfere in Town government. Keep local control!

Leslie ParkerOpposeGreenland, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

Local boards and communities should together decide the necessity of SAU's.

Nancy BrownOpposeHopkinton, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

Unfunded mandates are bad for local governance.

Jodi LangellottiOpposeDover, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

I will repeat myself: This should be a local decision. I thought the goal was for less government, not more?

April MeloOpposeSouth Hampton, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

I oppose this bill, local communities already have a hard time governing and finding people willing to do so. Please don’t make it more complicated than it has to be!

This is stupid. Tax rates are rendered MEANINGLESS by frequent revaluations. The only thing that matters is historic property taxes paid and any tailored tax exemptions secured by entities.

James MasonOpposeHancock, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

This bill could create an unfunded mandate around historical and potential project

Paul LambertOpposeCanaan, NHfor MyselfApr 7, 2025

This bill flies in the face of maintaining local control.
