This bill would guarantee that decal fees for the Safe Boat Program are strictly used for their designated purpose—promoting safe and public boat access. This bill would also guarantee that the boat Fee decal fees for the Lake Restoration and Preservation Fund are strictly used for their designated purpose—for lake restoration and preservation, to control invasive aquatic plants, and to prevent invasive aquatic plant infestations. Public access to clean and healthy, invasive-free lakes and rivers in New Hampshire is critical. ' Lake Restoration and Preservation Fund; [Addition to Boat Fee] Boat Fee Decal. The decal fee goes into non-lapsing funds, which are essential for securing matching federal funds through the Sport Fish Restoration Act. This legislation is part of a broader effort to maintain Fish and Game funding without diverting fees for other uses.
