We need to stop foreign entities from sway NH votes. Keep them out of our house and senate.

I do not know why we would allow paid representatives of foreign adversarial governments to lobby for interests that are certainly at cross-purposes with those of Granite Staters as well as the United States. Our government should serve the interests ONLY of fellow NH and US citizens, not those of our adversaries. I support SB 528 and I ask that our State House do the same. I find it outrageous, with all we know (and we don't know a lot!) about foreign adversaries taking over numerous critical American infrastructure sites (and farmland), who seek to undermine our political and economic systems using financial incentives, our government, lobbyists and political influence to sway state level decisions.

I support the foreign lobby ban because allowing foreign actors to lobby for their specific agendas erodes the local sovereignty of the people of New Hampshire. I do not want Chinese nor any other country's involvement in any decisions concerning the state of New Hampshire.

SB528 will protect our beautiful state from foreign adversaries like China. In my opinion, China seeks to undermine NH state decisions.

Currently there are two (2) significant pieces of property in Nashua, New Hampshire, that are owned by Chinese corporations. The former Daniel Webster College site next to Boire Field has sat idle since being purchased with no stated plans for improvement. The piece of property most recently in the news sits on the Pennichuck Water Works. No lobbyist should ever be rewarded for promoting the sale of this kind of prime property to foreign corporations. I do not dwell on conspiracies, but all the press has been focused on the amount of water the Chinese bottling company will require from Pennichuck. I have not heard of any concerns about the potential of contaminants being pumped into the water supply, destroying this critical resource and the surrounding communities. I Support passage of this bill.

I believe that foreign interference in state politics or national for that matter, is wrong. There should be no foreign lobbying to influence US policies. Please vote in the best interests of our beautiful state, not for your personal opinions or interests. Think ahead of the ramifications of your votes for the future of New Hampshire; common sense is a good thing. Thank you for allowing me to voice an opinion.

The rights and interests of New Hampshire residents are infringed when foreign interests are advanced. It is imperative that the interests of the citizens of New Hampshire is paramount. Chinese interests help China and do not help the citizens of our state.

We DON'T need foreign input OR lobbying, PERIOD!

As a proud New Hampshirite and U.S. military veteran, and I've always believed that our state government should work for us — not for foreign powers with agendas that run counter to American interests. SB528 is common sense. When lobbyists hired by adversarial governments like China are allowed to operate in our State House, they aren't representing New Hampshire citizens — they're representing interests that actively seek to undermine our political and economic systems both at the state and federal levels. We've already seen what foreign involvement looks like up close, with Chinese-linked interests in the Nashua water bottling facility and Daniel Webster College. That's enough. Texas and Louisiana have already taken this step, and it's time New Hampshire did too. This bill doesn't ban legitimate debate or free speech — it simply says that our legislators' attention shouldn't be for sale to foreign adversaries. I'm asking the Senate to pass SB528 and keep New Hampshire's government in the hands of its own people and serving the state's citizens. — Concerned New Hampshire Resident and U.S. military veteran
