Please SUPPORT SB590-FN by creating a committee to study neonicotinoid seed treatments. Neonicotinoids can leach from treated seeds into soil, move into groundwater and surface runoff water flowing into lakes and rivers and disrupt the aquatic food web, encouraging cyanobacteria blooms. By limiting their use we can help protect lake ecosystems, water quality, and recreation.

I support this bill because it allows municipalities to use a municipal revolving fund to support (“facilitate”) energy services provided under an approved municipal electric aggregation plan.

This bill allows municipalities to use a municipal revolving fund to support (“facilitate”) energy services provided under an approved municipal electric aggregation plan. It does this by adding electric aggregation-related energy services as an authorized purpose for revolving funds under existing municipal finance law.

Municipalities don't need another way to establish capital reserve funds; no need to put funds in the hands of, or funnel funds to a party other than the municipality destined to a CR fund. Let the Town and its voters establish CR accounts.
